labrador park outing-- 29/03/08

after a period of long absence, my visit with the mindville residents finally resume... and today we have the much- postphoned photo hunt amazing race at laberador park. (fyi: labrador park is merely few stops trip from harbour front via 408... but the frequency was extremely unfrequent!)

personally,i really enjoyed myself today...despite the boring outlook suggested by its ulu name (according to one of the volunteer, its the site ppl get killed during ww2). cuz today, i feel that the green group is very united and really showed that they are capable of more than i imagined (haha...even kong pok is v good). after not seeing the residents for quite long, i was initially a bit scared that i dunno what to say... but with the friendly volunteers and cheerful residents v soon the ice is broken(eh... or rather, i dun feel any ice) hahah.. okie.. sorry if u guys dunno what im trying to say, so i will go on to the photos below..

labrador nature reserve
the last word is "reserve"...due to the angle made between the letters against the curvature of the rock, i didn't really see the words v clearly before taking the pic (otherwise of cuz will have incorporated all the letters inside..)

many hands (of the green group residents) make light work
these hands all belong to our green group residents (except maybe for kelvin's). they are actively solving the jigsaw puzzle (with minimal help from the volunteers!). i felt really proud to see this... yah.. which also explains why i can slack to take this pic :p
their end product- nicely aligned some more.. =)

we actually assigned a piece of the puzzle to each resident to that they have to take part in solving the puzzle (haha.. no choice.. the puzzle already give to them) and everyone had a chance to participate. the volunteers then gave the residents some time to solve the puzzle instead of doing it for them..

this is not one of the jigsaw pictures! in labrador park, there are actually many interesting stuffs and personally, i never saw a fruit like this before... there are also alot of flowers, spiders... and mosquitoes!

shortly after, it started to drizzle.
stop.
dizzle.
stop.
and it goes on... until we left the park...

i think the expression on wai han's and meng ai's face is very funny... it looks like they think pauline wanna intude into their umbrella...

haha... pauline says she need to stoop to take pics with wai han and meng ai... which is actually true if you see the other pic in picasa...

lastly...

hmm.. btw for the nus volunteers this is the last official visit- eh. which also indicates that exams are near already..
