Here's how the story goes: Once upon a time, there was a boy who was playing a video game. Suddenly, this weird dude appeared on the screen and told him to knock his head against the television thrice. Uh... yea. So he did. Don't ask me why. Anyway, it's kind of like "Pleasantville", in the sense that the boy got "transported" back to the past through his television. Woo hoo!
Well, such was the premise for the opening skit of CSC Day 2009. It was quite original, and certainly very entertaining. The theme this year was (you guessed it) "Yesterday Once More".
Lovely props, kudos to the organisers.
We were divided into groups, with each group consisting of volunteers and beneficiaries from various sub-clubs. Here's one of the station games, which involved sliding objects across a coloured board onto "target" stripes:

Not. It's actually rather well-made decoration for the "disco" station, and these were our enthusiastic instructors:

Moving on, at another station, the beneficiaries had the opportunity to commit mass "insecticide":
Hmm... animals seemed to have been some sort of sub-theme this year, as here's yet another station that made use of the "animal" concept, namely fish:
Ahh... and home-made foosball!
A funky-looking, little foosball man (I'm rather fond of him):
In tune with the "blast from the past" theme, here's a photo gallery-style jigsaw puzzle:
The (sponsored) food was good.
